Carnitine Extra is a high-concentration carnitine supplement recommended for endurance and ultra-endurance sports. The product is enhanced with vitamin B12 and zinc. Carnitine plays an important physiological role as a fatty acid carrier in energy metabolism. At the biochemical level, carnitine promotes the transport of long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria, where they are oxidized to produce energy.
