Sponeta uses a specially manufactured wood chipboard for the production of table tennis tables. The outer layers are particularly thin and highly compressed, ensuring an optimal surface finish. The board's construction provides a stable and dimensionally accurate surface from environmentally friendly, PEFC-certified production. At the factory, this surface is processed in three repetitive production steps by applying several layers of primer, paint and varnish.
